It is common for racehorses, mainly "Thoroughbreds", to suffer from epistaxis (blood flowing from the nostrils on exertion).
Known for a very long time, this disorder still remains an enigma in the identification of its onset mechanism, but it is certain that horses with a certain fragility of the capillary blood vessels in the respiratory tract (nose, lungs) and to whom violent efforts are required, be willing to develop this disorder.
The Bleeding-stop formula has been specially studied to overcome this specific case.
It comes in two forms: an oral syringe formula for an attack treatment and a liquid formula for regular maintenance.
